Join researchers from The Centre for Care, The University of Sheffield Information School, the Digital Inclusion & Ethics hub (Digital Society Network) and other experts at this panel discussion exploring the themes and research behind our new board game ‘Mind the Gap: Tackling digital exclusion’.
The interactive discussion and human-sized board game will examine digital exclusion in the region, looking in detail at the people affected and the problems they face, and potential ways to improve inclusion in our increasingly digital world.

‘Mind the Gap: Tackling digital exclusion’ was created by Dan Williamson at the Centre for Care and designed and developed by Paul Evans.
The project team behind the boardgame are colleagues based at the University of Sheffield and the Faculty of Social Sciences Digital Inclusion and Ethics Hub (part of the Digital Society Network); Dr Sara Vanini, Dr Sharon Wagg, Dr Laura Sbaffi (Information School), Professor Kate Hamblin, Dr Grace Whitfield and Dr Rachael Black (Centre for Care), and Centre for Care’s Impact Specialist, Fay Benskin.
