Fay is the Impact Specialist in the Centre for Care, working with academics and external partners including stakeholders, voluntary sector organisations and policy makers to mobilise research findings to achieve impact beyond academia. Her role is to work with our researchers to plan for impact. Fay identifies partnerships and explores collaborative opportunities to ensure research findings are widely shared, to influence practice and policy.
Fay has over 15 years experience working in the voluntary sector. This has spanned across employability, youth homelessness and criminal justice. She has specialised in services for women involved in the criminal justice system and managed services for over 8 years. Most recently Fay worked as an Operations Manager for an NHS Social Prescribing Service whilst also undertaking a role as a Personalised Care Ambassador. She is dedicated to sharing her work experience in the realms of research to support knowledge exchange and provide professional context to improve understanding. Fay is passionate about The Centre for Care research making a real difference and improving people’s lives.
