Showcasing the Unpaid Care Dashboard
At the Liberal Democrats conference in Bournemouth we held an exhibition stand, where we met lots of enthusiastic politicians, councillors, stakeholders and other conference attendees.

Cases for change
In 2025 we held two Policy Breakfasts in the House of Commons. At one of the events we explored paid carer’s leave (co-hosted by Wendy Chamberlain MP), and the other focussed on Carer’s Allowance reform (Co-hosted by Steve Darling MP). We created the following documents based on the discussions at the events.
Letter to PM Andy Burnham

The Centre for Care has written to Andy Burnham outlining our evidence-based recommendations for social care reform.
In our letter we included recommendations from seven key areas of our research, which are crucial for the government to consider in its forthcoming plans.
