Kelly is the Centre Manager for the Centre for Care. She plays a key role in overseeing the delivery of the Centre, supporting its research activity and sits on the Management and Leadership Group.
Kelly leads the Centre Operations team and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Centre, managing all budgetary, planning and reporting mechanisms. She supports the development and implementation of Centre policies, including data and ethics management, publication strategies and capacity building; coordinates relationships and activities with external partners; and supports Centre workshops, conferences and other events.
Kelly joined the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Sheffield in 2017 following three years as a Research and Development Manager in industry and 10 years as a researcher. Throughout her career, she has worked collaboratively to solve problems and helped teams to achieve project goals. As Centre Manager, Kelly is committed to making an impact in a wider social context, ensuring the successful delivery of Centre objectives in collaboration with all its stakeholders.
