We are excited to announce the upcoming launch of the Unpaid Care Dashboard, an interactive online platform designed to highlight the contributions of unpaid carers across England and Wales.

The Unpaid Care Dashboard helps explore patterns and demographics of unpaid care to support policymakers, practitioners, and the public in their efforts to address the needs of the carers. This tool draws on Census data and builds on the research from Valuing Carers 2021: England and Wales, which estimated the annual value of unpaid care at £162 billion — nearly the cost of a second NHS.
The dashboard will be freely accessible to the public.
